Dr. Dominc E. P. Bryant
Dominic is a marine ecologist with over 15 years of experience in environmental monitoring projects. Hid background lies mostly in benthic ecology where he has participated and led large global coral reef surveys often in harsh and remote environments. This has given him experience to be an effective team player to create collaborative networks and strategic partnerships (government, private sector, academia, and NGOs) for conservation. Dominic holds a BSc. in Marine Biology and Aquaculture'; an MPhil in Marine Conservation and Biosecurity; and a PhD in Coral Reef Ecology.
Dominic’s main focus is helping communities, NGOs, and government institutions with capacity building, sampling design, and implementation of their coral reef monitoring projects. He brings valuable experience and skills in operating novel underwater survey equipment and automated image analysis techniques that can drastically increase the spatial coverage of underwater monitoring projects, leading to more meainingful data outputs for marine conservation practitioners.
